I'm a Dutch rabbit but my makings are not as good as they should be so I am a pet, not for the show ring. They say the Dutch Rabbit originated in Holland and was one of the first spotted rabbits, recorded in the fifteenth century, in the 1830's we were imported to England from Ostend in the Netherlands. Physical Attributes: Dutch are to have a compact, well rounded body, rounded head, short stocky well furred ears, there marking should be and even wedge of white running up the face, it is shaped by the cheeks which are the rounded circles of color on either side of the face(I didn't get that making) the neck is a white wedge on the back of the head , the saddle be a straight line running behind the shoulders and continuing underneath the rabbit to the undercut across the belly (I didn't get all the white) the stops are located on the rear feet which should be white from the toes to a point on third the length of the foot.
