Coat: Their fur is slick and glossy.

Physical Attributes A Mini Rex is well proportioned, it is well balanced in uniformity. The fur is one of the most notable features of this breed. The fur is approximately 5/8 inch in length the guard hairs are the same length as the under fun that gives them an extremely plush velvet silky feeling when touched, the fur has a lustrous appearance and will spring back when pressed. The mini rex is a very friendly, sweet,temperament, they are not aggressive and are good with children

 

 

Background: The Mini Rex is a relatively new breed. The name itself betrays the size of the rabbit as well as the type of fur-Rex. A simple touch of the hand is usually all it takes to make you and instant fan. Rex was accepted for its third showing at the 1988 Convention in Madison, WI and was originated and sponsored by Mona Berryhill of Texas
